Updated: Nov 1, 2023

Boise Fashion Week's Fall 2023 shows were a celebration of diversity, creativity, and innovation. The three evening shows featured the work of designers from all over Idaho and beyond, showcasing a wide range of trends and styles. The show was an outstanding success with having over 300+ guests! What makes this event even more spectacular is the volunteer team! Our team has worked months on this project with so much passion. BFW would not be able to have done any of this without them.

Day 1

The first evening show featured a mix of sustainable and innovative looks from designers such as MoLove, Voxn, 3D Printcess and Serendipity. Designer 3D Printcess presented her line Myriad of Reflections which showcased 3d-printed disco inspired dresses, shoes, pants and even jewelry. Serendipity Boutique presented collections of custom-styled vintage sustainable outfits. All looks on this day really showcased a lot of current trends we see in Idaho fashion- creativity and sustainability.

During intermissions, attendees were able to shop from the designers themselves, order drinks, and check out other vendors such as Bubbly Facial Bar, Link n Lou and More Than Cotton.

Day 2

The second evening show was a celebration of ready-to-wear fashion. Designers such as Voxn, Ritual Blue, Rhinestone Rodeo, and Seth Aaron. The trends on display included beautiful silhouettes and a mix of muted tones with contrasting colors. The crowd enjoyed the innovative looks of Rhinestone Rodeo and Seth Aaron's line. How exciting is it to have Project Runway designers here in Idaho?! After the show, the afterparty was hosted in Coa De Jima- sponsored by LGCY Productions. Models, designers, and guests were able to enjoy a night of music, drinks, and style.

Day 3

The third and final evening show was a showcase of special occasion looks. Designers Sarabeth Bridal, Boise Tuxedo Shop, Rhinestone Rodeo and Serendipity Boutique presented collections of luxurious gowns, creative dresses, stunning suit sets and more. The crowd enjoyed these stunning formal looks.

Overall, Boise Fashion Week's Fall 2023 shows were a huge success. The designers featured in these shows showcased their creativity and innovation, presenting collections that were both stylish and wearable. The shows were also well-produced and exciting, making them a must-see for any fashion lover in Idaho.

Here are some of the specific trends that were seen throughout the three evening shows:

  • Oversized silhouettes: This trend was seen in everything from blazers and coats to dresses and skirts. Oversized pieces can be both flattering and comfortable, and they add a touch of modernity to any look.

  • Bold colors: Bright colors such as fuchsia, emerald green, and cobalt blue were all on display at Boise Fashion Week. These colors can be used to create a statement look or simply to add a pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit.

  • Unique detailing: Designers used a variety of unique detailing to make their pieces stand out. This included things like asymmetrical hemlines, unusual textures, and unexpected cutouts.

  • Metallic accents: Metallic accents such as gold, silver, and bronze were seen throughout the evening shows. These accents can be used to dress up any outfit and add a touch of glamour.

  • Intricate beading: Intricate beading was another trend that was seen on many of the runways. This detailing can be used to create luxurious and eye-catching pieces.

Overall, Boise Fashion Week's Fall 2023 shows were a celebration of fashion in all its forms. The designers featured in these shows showcased their creativity and innovation, presenting collections that were both stylish and wearable. The trends on display were diverse and inclusive, with something for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out for the next show happening in June!
