Meet the Designers of the Fall 2023 Boise Fashion Week

Boise Fashion Week is here for the first time ever! This weekend the event will showcase the work of some of the talented designers in the city and nation!


In this blog post, we'll take a closer look at each of the designers featured in the Fall 2023 Boise Fashion Week lineup. Whether you're a fashion aficionado or simply curious to see what the local fashion scene has to offer, we encourage you to read on and learn more about the talented designers who will be showcasing their work at Boise Fashion Week this fall.


Seth Aaron

Seth Aaron Henderson, commonly known as Seth Aaron, is a renowned American fashion designer known for his innovative and edgy designs. He gained widespread recognition as the winner of the seventh season of the reality TV show "Project Runway" in 2010. As well as Project Runway AllStars season 3.

Seth Aaron's signature style often combines elements of punk, gothic, and rock 'n' roll aesthetics, resulting in bold and distinctive fashion collections.

His designs frequently feature asymmetrical cuts, unconventional materials, and a black-and-white color palette, reflecting his unique and avant-garde approach to fashion. Beyond his "Project Runway" victory, Seth Aaron has continued to establish himself as a prominent figure in the fashion industry.

He is showcasing his talent and creativity through various runway shows and collaborations. His work is characterized by its fusion of street style and high fashion, making him a standout designer in the contemporary fashion scene.


Cartier Dior Eliasen

Rhinestone Rodeo is a made-to-measure womenswear brand created by Cartier Dior Eliasen, a fashion designer and illustrator based in American Falls, Idaho. Cartier made her first dress designs out of upcycled phone books at the age of 9 and has not stopped creating unique, high fashion looks since. She showed her first collection during Utah Fashion Week the day before her 16th birthday, then went on to star in the second season of Lifetime’s Project Runway: Junior.

After graduating high school in 2018, she moved to Paris, France and where she studied fashion design and pattern making at Institut Français de la Mode. While in Paris, she worked in women’s ready-to-wear and haute couture for brands like Dior, Ellery, and Charles de Vilmorin. After graduating with a Bachelors degree from IFM in 2021, Cartier returned to her family home in Idaho to work on Rhinestone Rodeo, creating custom-made colourful fashion and whimsical fashion illustrations.


3D Printcess

Myriad of Reflections is a debut collection by sisters and co-designers, Sierra and Sydney Sandison. Sierra graduated at the top of her class in Mechanical Engineering from Boise State in 2022, and Sydney is currently studying at the Glassell School of Art in Houston. Sierra and Sydney have been running their company, 3D PrinTcess, together for the past two and a half years. This year, they decided to bring their talents together to create a 3D printed, light up, disco ball inspired fashion collection.

The collection went viral earlier this spring, and due to the international buzz around it. This resulted in the girls receiving an invitation to Fiji Fashion Week in June leading to their first international appearance as fashion designers only a few short months after putting their dream into action.


MoLove

Born and raised Cali girl, MoLove was created to give Less hate and Mo Love.

Started fashion recycling in grade school, to then pursuing a life career in 2012 after graduating from FIDM with a degree in Merchandise and Product Development. MoLove was created for men, woman, and children. MoLove is Art and was created to be fashionable, bold, and comfortable pieces. Wear with confidence: Be You. Be Unique. Be MoLove.


Ritual Blue

Juliana Davidsmeier is the Founder/Designer of Ritual Blue. Juliana has been a retail designer and Fashion Design Professor for many years, Ritual Blue is her newest and most special endeavor. You can still learn with her at her downtown Boise studio where she has taught, mentored and inspired countless aspiring designers.

At the heart of Ritual Blue lies Juliana’s unwavering dedication to sustainability. Sustainability is woven into every design, through the use of vintage and dead-stock fabrics, proving that fashion can indeed be eco-friendly without compromising on style. Her designs reflect a fusion of modern vintage aesthetics and sustainable practices, making her collection truly unique. Her designs not only captivate the eye but also serve as a testament to the potential for eco-conscious creativity in the fashion industry.


VOXN


Erica Becker is a young entrepreneur and owner of Voxn Clothing, a lifestyle brand wholesaling company of women’s apparel distributing throughout the US with a showroom in the heart of Downtown Boise. Erica has been exposed to small business entrepreneurship and apparel since childhood through her mother’s successful Clothing/Garment Alteration operation, Sew It Seams.

Erica has undergone formal training at Iowa State University through her attendance in the Fashion Design and Merchandising Program; consistently rated top 10 fashion programs across the nation. During her instruction, Erica coordinated five fashion shows as a board member or chair. Erica’s Professional career with respect to clothing, retail and business exposure launched as a Digital Customer Service Representative for Nordstrom, followed by an internship in the Creative Design and Marketing Department at Obey Clothing, Product Development for Asics America and Technical Design for Oakley before moving to Boise to open Voxn.

Erica’s designs can be found at various boutiques and gyms throughout the United States and Canada. When she’s not designing apparel, she’s running the daily operation of the Voxn Clothing showroom, painting acrylic art pieces or running with her dog, Daught.


Sarabeth Bridal

As a self-described fabric addict, Monica Sailors has been sewing and designing for most of her life. She loves fashion as a form of art and as self-expression. Her experience is varied, from theater costuming to runway shows to bridal and formal wear. Her love of fancy textiles led her to the bridal industry, where, as owner of Sarabeth Bridal, she serves as a personal stylist to women preparing for one of the biggest moments of their lives. She continues to create one-of-a-kind gowns when she finds inspiring new fabrics, and also loves repurposing fabrics recovered from vintage gowns.


Serendipity Boutique


Serendipity Boutique Consignment Clothing is a consignment shop in Boise, Idaho that offers vintage, contemporary, and costume clothing for men and women sized XS to 3X. They also have a wide selection of accessories, boots, shoes, purses, jewelry, and other fashion items.

Serendipity Boutique was originally opened in 1973 as the Nearly Nu Shoppe, and has been a staple for Boise consignment clothing ever since. In 2013, the shop was purchased by Nadine Nicolayeff and renamed Serendipity Boutique. The name Serendipity was chosen because of its charming meaning: to find an unexpected treasure. This name is fitting because with consignment shopping, you truly never know what treasures you may come across! Serendipity Boutique is a great place to find unique and stylish clothing at a fraction of the price of new clothes. They also have a friendly and knowledgeable staff who can help you find the perfect outfit for any occasion.
